Before and After

January 25, 2010

Wedding photographers quite often go into homes and places site unseen. As a result, you have to be able to think fast and know how to get the shot at the best angle with the best lighting.
This is just one of many reasons why you should never decide on a wedding photographer on price alone. Experience and expertise needs to account for something.

Here is an example of one of my grooms (cutie patoo-tie Mike) from a wedding I photographed in September. The room was very tiny where he and 3 others were getting dressed. The before shot shows the tungsten lit hall way; not an ideal place to photograph someone. However, with the right eye, angle and white balance composition, you can end up with this after shot.

    Hi Barb,

I like this post and took a peek back at your Sept post of thier wedding. Again, awesome shots and I really like how you get all the emotion on *film* and keep the fun side of the day front and centre…even in the rain ;o)

    Nice work!
