Katie and Andy got married in the perfect time of fall. I love fall and all of its colors. I think it is my favourite time of year and judging by the amount of Sept weddings there was, it the fav choice among brides as well. Andy had a great start to the day with his boys and they got a traditional shave. Loved watching this! Andy surprised Katie with a small calf to get pictures with. She is a vet and used to be a large animal Vet so trust me. it meant something to her. I have to say I have photographed many things, but a calf at a wedding was a first. But I must say it was great to witness and document! The flowers are by the talented Michelle VandenBosch….enjoy!

Class and Beauty are two worlds to describe this wedding and this couple. It was so much fun working alongside Sophia from EventsByMy for Matt and Livia’s gorgeous wedding. The National Art Gallery made for a great backdrop to host these nuptials and the food was provided by Tulips and Maple. Their food is amazing FYI !! Megan and Andrew got married in the beautiful city of Brockville and it was an equally beautiful day to photograph. Not a hot stinky mess like we have been getting lately:) Still, the church was air conditioned and I was very thankful for that! Andrew wore a suit instead of a tux and I think this is becoming a trend. It is great to see men being able to wear their suit again. Brides on the other hand….more on that further down under my wedding tip. Enjoy some of my fav images from the day! I might add that Megan “almost” fell in the water when we were shooting….A speed boat (I think on purpose) passed by and the dock was rocking quite a bit from the impending waves. Andrew held on to her like a good husband should

Wedding Tip !!!
What to do with that wedding dress huh? Well, there some options. You could keep it for sentimental reasons and a lot of brides choose this. Some even have their mothers or someone else make something with the gown such as baby’s christening gown or bassinet. Another option is to sell it either privately or at a consignment shop. My fav consignment shop is With Love Bridal Boutique located in Stittsville AND if you are a bride who still does not have her gown chosen yet, why not start there if you are looking for a more affordable choice.
Photography Tip!!!
When getting pictures taken of you and your girlfriends, place one foot forward (like the actresses do on the red carpet), push your hips back, lean slightly forward with your chest and put your chin up. You will drop some pounds and look great! Because our hips are the furthest away from the camera, they actually look smaller. Also, by lifting our chin up, it stretches out our necks, causing our skin to be smooth and give the appearance of lost weight. TRY IT! Guaranteed your friends will look at you in the picture and say “wow you look fantastic!”
Flora and Mike got married on a beautiful, crisp, fall Saturday. They said their enthusiastic “I Dos” at Blessed Sacramentin the Glebe – and how I love Father Joe!
We then headed over the the Museum of Civilization for some pictures. This has to be one of my favorite spots to photograph because of the warmth of the stone, the reflection in the glass and the cool lines ofthe buildings. After we struck a pose, we landed at the Crowne Plaza for the night to celebrate in style. I have to give a big shout out to some peeps

Erinn and Matt had a magical day. The rain held off at just the right times. What was so fantastic about this wedding (besides the couple) was how beautiful everything came together. The venue was Saunders Farm and Angela and her team did an amazing job. The food was Tulips and Maple and OMG the Beef Martini was a HUGE hit! The girls started out at The SPA Day Retreat in Kanata on Castlefrank and they did a wonderful job on hair and make-up. As always, Quality Entertainment delivered some fresh and funky dance tunes and kept the dance floor packed constantly. Finally, I big shout out to Michelle Vandenbosch who transformed the Old Tree into a stunner of a backdrop and made the Reception look dreamy with her floral creations.
I mashed up the slideshow a bit differently this time and dove into the world of Fusion Weddings. I big shout out to Quinn Brown who delivered the video content – couldn’t have done it without his expertise. I think the results speak for themselves. I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Monique and Filippo this past weekend. Monique looked absolutely stunning in her gown and Filippo looked equally handsome in his tux. Special thanks to Chandra who photographed the boys while I was downtown at the Westin with the girls. The car has to get some attention too….it was downright gorgeous. The last photo is the reaction of Monique’s mom when she saw her daughter in her wedding gown for the first time. Love those moments!
