I remember researching Ottawa photographers online and coming across your website. We really liked your style of photography so we decided to email you with some questions. Within ten minutes you called and provided answers to all of our questions. In the coming months we met for our engagement shoot where, although we were probably not the most experienced models, you guided us through and made sure we got the shots we wanted while having fun.
Leading up to the wedding you were always availabe when we had questions, provided feedback on photo suggestions, were flexible when we had so many changes to the layout of our guestbook and offered to meet with us so we could make sure everything was covered for the wedding day. And it was. You showed up right on time, if not a little early; You made everyone feel at ease and comfortable (we still have people telling us how great you were); You made sure to get the shots we discussed while not interfering; And your pictures are absolutely incredible. After the wedding, you still continue to surprise us. Our complete photo gallery (already edited) and video/slideshow were posted within a week of our wedding; Our album proof was posted within a month of our wedding; And you have even offered to provide additional photo DVDs that were not included in the contract just because you know we/our families will appreciate them. We could not be happier with our photos and with choosing you as our wedding photographer.

Not only have we showed our photos to as many people possible (because we are so happy with them), we have already recommended your services to others and will continue to do so. You were an absolute pleasure to work with and we would do it all over again.

Hi Barb,

Steven and I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for everything that you have done to capture every special moment of both our road to the alter, and of our actual wedding day. You were highly recommended by a mutual friend and we were so glad that we chose you!

From the moment that we first met you for our engagement shoot, we knew that we wanted you to be our photographer for our wedding. We’ve never met or seen a photographer who is so detail-oriented and who actually gets down on the ground (in the mud and the dirt) to get the perfect angle! It was very exciting to work with you because of the passion that you have for your work. Our engagement shoot was amazingly fun, and the pictures you took were absolutely breath-taking. To this day, we still get compliments! Your delivery time was also fantastic. When something so exciting happens in your life, you can’t wait to see the results, and so we think it’s great that you don’t overbook your time, to allow ample time to close one project before moving on to the next. You also gave us great advice as to where to go to get the better bang for our buck when printing shots from the high resolution CD you gave us.

Communication has always been great. I love that you use email so that we both have everything on file and can refer to our agreements if need be. Contracting was easy and we appreciate the level of trust that you confide in your clients. And we hope that in-turn, you felt the same level of trust from your clients.

On our wedding day, you were on time (a little early even – which was GREAT) and you made everyone comfortable from the very first picture. You made them laugh when it was appropriate and made them more serious when needed. You were always patient, polite and happy despite some tight time constraints. And one thing that struck us the most was the excitement you expressed when you captured the perfect moment and ran up to us to show us the picture. It’s something that really made the whole day even more special. (And I remember telling you that I was so happy that you were our photographer, to which you responded, “I’m so happy too!” and then hugged me). When your vendors are excited about their job and about working with you, it just makes it that much more exciting for us.

It was also incredible to me, that you could do so much with so little. A plain white sheer in my parent’s living room became an accessory that made stunning pictures. A simple background ended up looking like a studio. I could not believe it when I saw the pictures. It was amazing.

Family members who had the chance to participate in some of the shots raved about you, your wonderful personality and your talent. Family members and friends even asked for your card to use your services in the near future.

Only 2 days after the wedding, our album was ready for review on your website. It was so exciting to see the pictures that you had discretly taken without our knowledge. And as expected, ALL of the pictures were AMAZING – I would even say that they were above and beyond our expectations. Family and friends who viewed the album could not stop sending us wonderful compliments.

Shortly after we returned from our honeymoon, you had already designed our album and it was ready for review. You were very patient and very accomodating with all of the additions that we requested. Changes were always made within a few hours and ready for our review again. Your advice was always fantastic and very useful. You really managed to tell the story through our album. There is a nice flow and the picture selection is perfect.

You also generously offered to upgrade our album package at no charge which made it even more exciting. The cover color that you suggested matches our wedding color scheme and we can’t wait to see the finished product.

After thinking that I would do my thank you cards by myself – to save money – I gave in and decided to ask you about your services to design them and get them printed. You answered all of my questions quickly and efficiently, and your prices were very reasonable. Once I gave you the go ahead, we received a proof within 4 working days and you made all the changes within hours. We also look forward to see the finished product.

Barb, we could not have asked for a better photographer. You are the best. And we’ve been spreading the word about you and your incredible talent. We hope that our friends and family will have the opportunity to work with you.

And we hope to have the opportunity to work with you again.

Hi Barb,

I can’t believe months have passed already since our wedding day but time flies!

I want to thank you once again for being such a big part of making our wedding day so wonderful and seamless.  The entire process was effortless – from our engagement photo session to the last minute changes I requested for our wedding album.  For Jason and I, picking the right photographer was very important and you proved to be not only very talented but extremely easy to work with and so flexible.  Everyone commented on how easy and friendly you were and the feedback we continue to get on our wedding pics is amazing! No one could believe how fast you had our pictures back to us – within days and that beautiful fusion video you did was absolutely amazing and an added bonus for us!!!  We really appreciated all the good advice you gave and how diligent you are at returning emails and phone calls.
